Created in 2003, the Triangle Residency Program is an outgrowth of the Triangle Artists' Workshop and fulfills the need for more studio programs in New York City. For 2005-06, Triangle offers two residencies to New York artists for six months each and a year-long residency to artists from France and Berlin, Germany. Triangle provides the time and space to realize large-scale projects.
Triangle Arts Association (Limited) is supported in part by the New York State Council on the Arts, The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Cowles Charitable Trust, CulturesFrance, The French Ministry of Culture, The Berlin Senate, Milton & Sally Avery Foundation, The Allan D. Emil Memorial Fund, The Ford Foundation, The Judith Rothschild Foundation, Materials for the Arts, Barford Sculptures, The J.M. Kaplan Fund, and corporate and private sponsors. Space is generously donated by David and Jane Walentas and Two Trees Management.
